HERITAGE AFRICA TRAILS TRAVEL

ITS TIME TO GET IN TOUCH WITH NATURE

Eco Tour, a nature based travel, is relatively a new term which aims to conserve the resources (environment) and improve the well being of local people. Sustainable Tourism, on the other hand, is broadly centred upon consideration of local people, culture, customs, tradition and economic condition of locals, along with protecting and preserving the resources. Unlike Eco Tourism, Sustainable tourism puts its faith in the fact that tourism has to benefit the host (local people) and natural resources have to be preserved for long time.

Cultural and Heritage Tourism are older terms in comparison to Eco Tour, as it is about offering tourist a glimpse and exploration of its cultural and historical destinations. On the other hands, Eco Tour is different in sense that it might be broader than Cultural and Historical Tour, as an eco place might be naturally as well historically and culturally rich.

Africa is the mother continent - the core from which all the other continents were torn away 270 million years ago. Since then, three factors have had profound consequences on its wildlife. This mighty block of land has stayed in much the same place, it stands alone and it straddles the equator. It's also been protected from crippling ice ages and destructive invasions as well as nurtured by gentle changes in climate and geology. As a result, animals and plants have flourished here more successfully than on any other continent. This is Africa - rich, diverse and fascinating - and at the heart of the world. Influenced by climate and geology, time has allowed Africa to accumulate the breathtaking variety of wildlife we see today. Our trails take through this fascinating beautiful ancient landscape
The East African savanna, dry tropical grassland, is home to a rich array of spectacular animals. Predators like lions and cheetahs prey on grazing and browsing animals like zebras and gazelles. Stately birds like kori bustards stalk smaller prey while rarely seen naked mole-rats inhabit burrows on the savanna. You can see these species when you travel to Africa. Just book with Heritage Africa Trails
